The inspiration for the new guest room experience was the City of Prague. The cool and muted colours used for the specially designed carpet, furniture and wall finishes reflect the stucco shades of Prague building façades and the artworks are based on the City’s strong cubist and modernist traditions.
The focus of the new design is the bed, with it’s full height oversized bed head which gives the room a strong sense of scale. Other bespoke furniture and interior design elements combine to give the room an elegant and contemporary atmosphere.
This ambience extends into the new bathroom where grey porcelain ceramics are contrasted with bronze coloured glass mosaics adding an accent of jewel like opulence in the otherwise restrained setting.
Subtle indirect lighting is used throughout to create a comfortable and relaxing environment, giving more of a residential than a corporate feel.
