This competition win provides a new vision for the internal and external spaces at this landmark Prague office building. The proposals for the external public square respond to the planned adjacent Hilton Conference Center extension (see here) also by IBA.
The new proposals for the entrance area include new landscaping, seating areas, external lighting and an entrance ramp.
Curvilinear metal plates are used as retention for the raised planters and continue as a balustrade providing strong directional focus for the building entrance.
Site works have commenced and will be complete this summer. The client is Generali Real Estate.
